How long do inmates in San Antonio, Tx usually wait for TAIP Department to go evaluate them?

I have a friend that got arrested at court and now Im having to take Care of her three year old and five year old, plus my three year old son. But neways she’s sentenced to ISF at Henderson, Tx. But has been in Bexar county jail annex since March 10 2016 how much longer do inmates usually wait for their TAIP Evaluations to be done in order for ISF to pick them up? I already called Adult P.O. but no answer.

Answer

There is no statutory time frame. Her evaluation will be performed when it is performed. Don’t expect anything soon. Make your plans regarding her children and yours as if your friend will not be getting out anytime soon
