Asked 3/11/2016 – El Paso, TX

My husband signed 2 yrs jail time. He has 15 months back time he’s been gone for 2 months so already has 17 months in. He was tranferred to middleton facility, and now is in Huntsville and has a release date of march 14. But he has a detainer, which i was told he will get picked up the 14th of march when he’s released. I was told he served his TDCJ time, now he has to serve his state jail time….

I need to know what the hold on your husband is for. You state he had a 2 year state jail sentence, but make no mention of any other charges. The attorney who represented him on the case where he was sentenced will probably know the answer to your question.
