Hi my son is charged with burglary. He has no criminal record. He burglarized homes to feed his gambling addiction. He does have a. Attorney

Answer

Not having a prior criminal record will help in any possible sentencing in this case. The gambling addiction, however, is not a reason to mitigate the circumstances and won’t help much to reduce any punishment. Keep in touch with his attorney and stay informed.
