I have a boyfriend from Louisiana he was convicted of aggravated battery he serve some prison time and got paroled and moved his parole to Dallas he finish the parole all he had to do was go back to Louisiana to close it out that was it report back to Louisiana to close it out. The parole expired one month after he caught a new charge, even though it had expired he still had not reported by to LA. His new charge in Texas is Unlicensed Possession of a weapon by a felon, but it was reduced to a misdemeanor, and they gave him a PR bond. But gave LA 30 days to pick him up. What are his chances of being extradited he only had days on parole if he would have went back to close it out. What kind of time is looking at in LA?

If a person on parole has a new criminal charge filed against him/her, that person is subject to a revocation of that parole and a return to prison. It does not matter if the new offense occurred one day, one month, or one year left on parole; any new offense during the parole period can cause a revocation.
