Answer
Driving while intoxicated is generally a class b misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of $2,000, confinement in jail for up to 180 days, or a maximum probationary period for up to 24 month. Unlawful carrying of a weapon is a class a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $4,000, confinement in jail for up to 1 year, with the same 24 month maximum probationary period. Each of these types of cases can be enhanced; for example, if your blood alcohol concentration was over .15, or you have a prior DWI conviction or prior felony conviction of any type. Contact a local attorney to determine exactly the charges filed against you.
