[TRAVIS COUNTY ] DEL VALLE CORRECTIONAL COMPLEX] My boyfriend has been in jail for 2 months now and has not seen the judge , last year he didn’t not pay his PR bond fee (40$) so now it is motion off bond , he has a third degree felony attempted burglary & a POM (class A), and evading class (A), but his lawyer said he can get time served for those they are jut focused on the felony , the DA offered him 6 years deferred probation , he has court this month march 31st , and will be doing the plea bargain/sentencing , but he yet Has not did a PSI , his lawyer said he will see if he can reinstate his PR and release him the day of the sentencing (31st) and in 2 or 3 weeks do the PSI with probation is this possible or does he HAVE to do a psi in custody?

Answer

All the things you ask are POSSIBLE, but no one has a crystal ball. YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT THE JUDGE SAYS. All the questions in the world will not change the outcome. Your boyfriend’s attorney has accurately explained the situation and options. You have asked that same question several times over the past few weeks, and the answer will not change. The decision on if and when your boyfriend will be released will be up to the Judge. That’s what Judges do: make decisions. Wait for that decision.
