Right now my boyfriend is 14 but will be turning 15 in August and I am 17 and will be turning 18 in January and I was wondering if it’s against the Texas law for us to have sex

Answer

Yes, what you describe is illegal. See Texas Penal Code Section 21.11 – Indecency with a Child. If criminal charges are filed, some defenses may exist. Also review Section 3.021 – Online Solicitation of a Minor; You are going to do what you are going to do, but this has bad written all over it.
