Asked 8/4/2016 – Dallas, TX

I have deferred justification in Denton County for 2nd degree injury to a child 22.04. I have served 3 of the 7 years. I am thinking of trying this when I hit 4 years. I have all fines paid, all community service done, have no criminal history and have no violations while on probation. I am just wondering if it is worth perusing.

Answer

If you have completed all the terms and conditions of probation, the yes, you can request early termination. Make sure all fines, fees and court costs are paid in full, any required classes are completed and your probation officer will agree with the request for early termination. Then you can contract your attorney about the matter.
