I had a domestic dispute many years ago and I just recently thought about doing an open records request, and what I found was shocking. There are serious details, even down to quotes of nasty things we told the officers we had said to each other in the argument. Some of it isn’t even factual and I’m disturbed that this very personal info is public. No charges were filed and no one was arrested, can I have the info sealed or something?
