Is there a Texas penal code stating a police officer cannot perform a traffic stop in an unmarked vehicle?

Asked 6/23/2016 – San Benito, TX

An all blacked out vehicle with interior lights pulled us over but did not have any markings or decals stating they were police. I want to know if that is okay

Answer

It is legal for an unmarked police car to detain another vehicle and make a traffic stop.
