Asked 3/5/2016 – Lewisville, TX

I was a seen entering a place where an informant told police drugs were being sold. When I left that place I was followed and when I made a wide right turn the officer stopped me.He told me I made a wide right turn and ask where I was heading. He then asked me for license and registration.I produced registration but had no license to drive. He ask if I had anything in the car that might be illegal.I said no.He ask to search and iconsented. On the police report it states that when asked for license and registration that I then gave him a valid driver’s license and registration..How important is this.It appears as a minor detail to me.but just want to make sure.Nolicence was giving to him.I didn’t have one.

Answer

The license/no license issue is irrelevant. Tell me about the police report. Why is there a report? Were you arrested? If so, what was the charge? You may want to call a local attorney if you have anything pending before a court.,
