Asked 1/218/2016 – San Antonio, TX

In the ninth grade I was caught with 1 pill, lorazepam, in a drug free zone; school. i was placed on deferred, did not complete it so i am now on probation for 6 months. Now i am about to turn 16 in March and i have not convicted and other crimes. I can prove I am a changed person, I am pregnant with a guy whom i have a restraining order against, but, we have the same Probation Officer and has reduced the conditions of probation to “No UNSUPERVISED contact with this person” I dont know if that will affect anything or considered, violating anything or comitting a crime but our PO has approved of our seeing each other. He is 17 and there is a case opened concerning “stagetory rape” but my dad said he doesn’t want to press charges, he wants him to take responsibility. (again im not sure if that will affect anything in my criminal record) I want to be a Veterinarian, as i gave up on Pharmacy due to my particular felony conviction (drug offense), or a nurse, i was also thinking about being a dental hygienist, i was to EXPUNGE & SEAL my record if possible. I do not want it to show up on my record WHATSOEVER. it was a mistake i made as a CHILD.Any other questions i will answer, thank you

Answer

I assume you were not certified as an adult and all proceedings were in the juvenile court. Juvenile records can be sealed. Focus, however, on your day to day decisions and complete your probation. To this point, you have committed a felony drug offense, violated your probation and become pregnant by a boy with a criminal record and no means of supporting you or a family.` Vet school is the least of your worries right now.
