Daughter and BF shared 1 car. Daughter gets DUI and court orders Breathalyzer for home AND car after taking her license. She goes to her attorney, pub defender, and explains, he said to be careful, any bad tests will reflect on her. She fails a test on home machine due to fermented pro biotic natural drink…gets arrested for failed test and BF driving her car, having all clean tests. Bond has been increased 2 times due to misinformation from attorney….incarcerated until Court date 2 weeks later, leaving 11 yr old son with grandparents because Father is deceased.
Answer
If you believe your daughter is sitting in jail due to the negligence of her attorney, you should strongly consider retaining private counsel. I’m not sure of your question, but you are obviously unhappy about the situation. Understandable. I suggest you, your daughter and your family be proactive. Don’t be victims and feel like you have no control. Hire an attorney. Have copies of the orders which outline your daughter’s conditions of bond. Meet with the bond supervisors, the attorney and the court 1000 times if you have to until you understand perfectly what is expected. Remember, any mistakes fall back on your daughter. Know what you have to do, then do it.
