I got a no seatbelt ticket in San Antonio TX . I was wondering if it’s a moving violation ticket and if I could do anything to get out of this ticket? I do have a class b cdl

Answer

It is not a moving violation. FYI, if you want to know the list of what the DPS considers a moving violation, see Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Part 1, Chapter 15, Subchapter D, Rule 15.89. Talk with a local attorney about your options in the particular court where your ticket is pending.
