Asked 4/14/2016 – Dallas, TX

My husband got arrested last week for a blue warrant. He did not get a new charge. He owed $270 of parole fees, i spoke to the parole officer & she advised someone pay his fees, so i did. Then she advised she had already submitted paper work for the Blue Warrant to be with-drawled & he would be release late Friday or early Monday. It is now Wednesday & he still has the Blue Warrant hold. I called her to see what was the process since he was still there. She said she had already done her job. he is about to loose his job! and she does not care.

Answer

It sounds like you have done all you can do by paying the delinquent fees. The Sheriff of the jail where your husband is held will release him when notice is received that the warrant has been recalled. If you want to see if you can pester anybody, call the jail and see if you can get the number and the name of the specific office where the recall is to come from (I don’t know if they will give you that information, but you can ask). If you can get through to someone, make sure the proper forms have been filed and nothing has been lost in the system.
