Asked 5/18/2016 – Lubbock, TX

10 year sentence probated to 7 years felony probation I’m on my second revocation in 5years I have a year and a half left in probation

Answer

The time you spend on probation does not could toward any prison time assessed, so the fact you have a year and a half left on probation is irrelevant. You are subject to a 10 year prison sentence, with credit for any back time you spent in jail on your case. I am not sure what “chances” you are referring to, but the nature of the allegations in the motion to revoke probation will be the determining factor in the sentence you receive.
