What can i do and do i have to be in court or can my lawyer appear for me and i pay a fine to clear the bench warrant?

I have a class c misdemeanor charge in dallas but i live in ennis tx. On my court date i tried to call to reschedule my court date because i didnt have a ride and i got no answer or call back when i left messages. Now i have a bench warrant that im trying to have cleared.

For a class c misdemeanor, an attorney can post a bond, set your case for court, make an appearance on your behalf on the court date, then enter into a plea bargain with the city prosecutor to resolve your case, all without you appearing in court.
