My boyfriend is in jail because he got charged with aggravated assault on a family member. Now he didn’t hurt me or touched me. And he never threatened me with the gun he just had it out in the open.

If you are the alleged victim of the assault, you may contact the District Attorney’s office and request to file an affidavit of non-prosecution in his case. Filing the affidavit does not guarantee dismissal of the charges, however. You also should talk with local attorneys about representing him.
