I was given citations for 1) not having a driver’s license 2) Fail to yield Row (turning left). The accident occurred in a four stop transaction where I was leaving a street and entering a main road. Before the accident I made my stop because two other cars where there before me and after that I gave way to a black truck who came in seconds before me, also leaving a street opposite to mine and turning right into the main road. After his turn, there was only me and a white car that came after me going straight. That car gave way to me because it was my turn, I checked all sides and no other cars were there except me and that white car so I took my turn and went. As i was turning left I saw a gray car coming but since it was a four stop transaction that car stopped like he had to but all of sudden a white car speeding hit me out of nowhere coming the same direction as the gray car throwing my car on top of the grass and concrete that separates the road. He did not make his stop and on top of that he was speeding. Minutes a lady says she was a witness placing me at fault but the only person who saw everything from the beginning was the man in the white car so I was placed as fault.

Please attempt to gather the 911 call sheets from the police department regarding your motor vehicle accident. Review the log for additional witness names and phone numbers. Also, if there are businesses with surveillance cameras in the area of the accident, kindly ask them to allow you to review any recordings they may have. Also, contact your auto insurance company, as they will complete an investigation of the accident. Retain an attorney who handles traffic tickets in the area and make sure a court date is set on the citations.
