Asked 7/12/2016 – Pearland, TX
My ex has quite a few things on his past records, as well as some new for committing these offenses:
( STS/ARSON )
( S / S BURGLARY OF HABITATION )
on my current boyfriend’s house last year. He broke his bail by getting arrested for these
( POSS CS PG 2 >= 4G 4G<400G )
( POSS MARIHUANA <2OZ )
( POSS CS PG 3 < 28G )
in May. I’m afraid of him, but I don’t really have to money or the evidence to get a protective order and he’s very manipulating to make it seem like he’s not crazy… No evidence of him slashing my tires and also no physical evidence of when he threatened my boyfriend and I to our faces before the fire…
How do I find out if he will remain in jail and away from me?
Thank you. Need all the help I can get.
Answer
A bond company has posted a bond on one of the cases you list and since posting that bond, you ex has been arrested again. By filing the affidavit, the bond company is requesting the court remove the previous bond posted and be relieved of any liability on said bond. If the Judge grants the request, a hold will be placed on your ex and he will not be released from jail unless a new bond is posted. You do not have to hire a private attorney to obtain a protective order. Contact the local District Attorney’s office. Good luck.
