What does it mean when a death warrant is withdrawn

In 02 myself and my Friend were victims in a home invasion she was murdered and I was stabbed multiple times the individual who committed the crime was caught immediately was charged and convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death just recently he received an execution date and now It seems the death warrant has been withdrawn does it mean he lives

Answer

Recall of the death warrant means the execution date is no longer applicable. What will ultimately happen (i.e. will the execution ever occur), depends on where the case stands in the appeal process. The District Attorney’s office that prosecuted the case should be able to provide more answers.
