Asked 2/5/2016 – San Antonio, TX

My husband was on probation and was revoked, he signed for 5 years TDC, his court appointed said it was reduced to 2 years TDC and with the time he already had on probation he’d just be doing a turn around.

Answer

Any time your husband spent on probation doesn’t count towards his jail sentence. He will be given a release date when he arrives at the correctional facility he is assigned to. He will be given back time credit for any days he spent in jail prior to his final sentencing. Wait until he is transferred, then your questions will be answered.
