My brother went to check in with his p.o today when he was there his p.o told him be prepared because he might be arrested next week and claimed to have sent paperwork to a judge. last week his p.o did a home visit and found weed and a shotgun both were not his and the shotgun was in a different person’s name will he be arrested if so what is the process will he be given bond or have to stay in jail if so how long

It will be up to the court that granted probation as to whether bond will be allowed on a motion to revoke/adjudicate probation and how much the bond will be. If your brother is on deferred adjudication probation, he is entitled to a bond as a matter of law. If your brother is on straight probation, bond will be at the discretion of the Judge. Once the probationer is taken into custody, he must be formally served with a copy of the motion to revoke probation. You may contact a local attorney about approaching the Court and having a bond set after that point.
