My kids father is on parole we got into a big fight he drug me down the stairs and i just had a c-section police came out wrote report my son was a witness they took his statement. From my understanding he wasn’t reporting to parole they put a blue warrant out for him he turned himself in they classified it as a class c misdemeanor we was suppose to go to a revocation hearing but he waived it the parole making a decision parole came back to get him to go his parole officer said no he don’t won’t to go can’t make him go. And I also learned he was going to the classes already for domestic violence.. i talk to the prosecutor officer and he is going to take the case. I think he being charged with assault family violence. I also filed a protective order against him for me and my kids

Answer

It appears your kid’s father violated his parole by 1) not reporting to his parole officer as directed, and 2) committing a new offense. It will be up to the State on what new charges are filed. A class c assault can be punished by fine only, so that would not keep him in jail. Find out from the prosecutor about what charges will be filed.
