Asked 2/2/2016 – Houston, TX

My close friend here in Houston Texas is a 15 year old hood boy he has been in juvenile before he was actually about to go to court but rea-sonly approximately in December he was caught in possession of marijuana.

Answer

For juvenile cases, the sentence can be anywhere from dismissal of the case, to probation while returning to the home, to confinement in the Texas Youth Commission until his 21st birthday. He will not be sentenced to confinement, however, for a possession of marijuana case. He will have been appointed an attorney. Make sure a home study has been requested and performed so the case can move quickly.
