My boyfriend was really drunk and put a knife to my neck. He didn’t hurt me, at all. I called the cops thinking he would just go to the drunk tank for the night, today I found out he’s facing 2nd degree felony aggravated assault charges? This is not ok!

The punishment range for a 2nd degree felony is confinement in prison from 2 to 20 years, up to a $10,000 fine or a probationary period for up to 10 years. You’re right…it’s not OK. Ask the rest of your family if it’s OK for him to get drunk and put a knife to your neck. Please realize that you were half a beer away from being a corpse. Let him get help. Don’t just blow this off.
