Resisted arrest and spit in his face

Answer

There is no specific statute for “Spitting in a cop’s face”. If you were arrested and subsequently bonded out, at some point you were arraigned by a Judge, told specifically what charges you were being held on, and a bond amount was set. If the charge was resting arrest, this is a class a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $4,000, confinement in jail for up to 1 year, or a maximum probationary period for up to 24 months. You will have to get with a local attorney to see if there are any other charges and what is going to happen in your particular case.
