When is a conviction like assault considered spent in Canada or US if the offender was fined a minimal fee ($200 for example) and placed on a 1 year probation by a Supreme Judge? How mean how long after a probation sentence is the conviction considered spent?

I do not know what you mean by the phrase “is the conviction considered spent”. A probation ends on the date of expiration listed in the probation order, but I am not sure if that is the question you are asking.
