Asked 6/24/2016 – Pasadena, TX

15 years ago, I traveled to Mexico, on my way back, unbeknownst to me, I had a warrant out for my arrest. I was detained by the U.S Customs and Enforcement when they ran my I.D, and transferred to me to my county. Long story short, I now qualify to petition the court for an order of non-disclosure. How do I know find out the agency information who arrested me, and the arrest records. Under the district clerk’s office for my county, it only shows the arrest records for my county, not where I was initially arrested.

Answer

The arrest affidavit on file in your case will state the agency that made the arrest. This information should be readily available through the clerk’s office, which makes your question odd to me. I truly believe it is in your best interest to contact a local attorney regarding the petition for non-disclosure.
