Me and my boyfriend were out passed curfew and we both got tickets, however they only took his picture, why is that?

It is a relatively new procedure, but not unusual. It is to combat identity theft, where someone uses another person’s name when receiving a citation. A copy of the picture taken at the time of the stop will be digitally scanned with the citation and will be available to view if the matter is challenged in court.
