Will it show up on a background check?

If I was arrested for assault on a nurse and felony charges were filed but the entire case was dismissed will it still show up on an employment background check?

Answer

If the case was filed, the district clerk will have records of the matter which are available on a standard background check. Contact an attorney in the county where the case was filed and ask about an expunction.
